not feeling ok? reach out

feeling sad... under the weather... depressed... trapped... hopeless... uncertain... claustrophobic... ?

Feelings are endless – on the sadder or lower side of feelings, there is this chaotic maze that can be a mix of feeling lonely, angry, anxious, drained, demotivated, betrayed, let down, jealous, useless, wasted, helpless, suicidal… and so on… the list is endless.

There can be times when it is so bad that we feel like taking any extreme step, backing out, giving up or wanting to escape the given situation? We DO NOT feel OK in that situation. However, it is important to know that IT IS OK to NOT feel OK. It is ok because obviously something has happened that is making us feel the way we are feeling. We may feel too distressed to even figure out what to do, a situation of complete confusion and chaos in mind and heart; and there might be lots of internal conflict going on, or just blank.

It can happen to any of us, anytime. Relationship issues, family issues, breakup, financial loss, professional issues, peer / parental pressure, death of a loved one or anything that shakes our entire being. It is something that leaves us completely zapped and clueless on the direction to follow.

If anything of this sort is happening to you, accept that you are going through a difficult phase. You may not be able to deal with this emotional turmoil all by yourself. So be kind to yourself and ask for help.
